30 Rooms at Milepost
May 19, 2008
30 Rooms at Milepost is week-long collective show incorporating music, film, art and installation within two buildings. There will be more than 30 artists included in more than 30 rooms, a temporary complex of mini-galleries with different shows in each one. The best thing is that it’s also totally FREE! The opening party happened this Saturday but the show goes all week and the closing party, with music by Musee Mecanique and others, happens Saturday the 24th. And yes, there will be a beer garden!
Milepost 5 provides affordable and sustainable live/work spaces for artists in a supportive community setting, as well as offering the rare opportunity for artists to either rent or own their space.
