Do You Ride PDX?
June 30, 2008
Do you ride? With gas prices at an all-time high, many people are beginning to use their bikes for transportation and not just recreation. I’m considering doing it myself. I own an SUV with terrible gas mileage. With a large community of riders here in the Portland area, one new business has found a niche among commuters with busy schedules and lives. Which is all of us, right?
Do you ride PDX? was founded by Brian Wilson, a Portland native, who’s mission is to keep Portland’s bikes running smoothly and safely. Instead of driving your car to the bike shop to have repairs done and then driving back to pick it up, or (even worse) dropping it off and not getting it back for a few days, Brian will actually come to your house in his fully-functional mobile bike shop and perform all the maintenance you require. You can just go about your daily routine while he does all the dirty work. Brian has 15 years experience diagnosing and repairing bikes, and will have you back on the road in no time!
