Drink Belgium Beer, For Charity!

Come drink some fine Belgium beers this Saturday at Roots Organic Brewing Company’s 2nd annual Portland Cheers to Belgium Beers. 15 Oregon brewers participate in this year’s event, where the challenge was to use one strand of Belgium yeast to produce a wide variety of unique Belgium-style beers. There will be live music and food and all proceeds go to the Oregon chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. This years participating breweries are Roots, Alameda, Rock Bottom, Hopworks, New Old Lompoc, Lucky, Amnesia, Philadelphia’s, BJ’s, McMenamin’s Crystal and John Barleycorn’s (collaboration), Laurelwood, McMenamin’s CPR, Hair of the Dog and Raccoon Lodge.

Noon-11 p.m. - $5 commemorative glass and $1 tasters
