Excellent Gentlemen

So are you in the mood for some sweet soul and nasty funk? If so, I would recommend checking out the Excellent Gentlemen. They truly live up to their name in every way. When I first met them I thought, “These guys are some excellent f*@kin gentlemen.” They are very cool and hella personable. Something you rarely get from awesome musicians. The band consists of front man Steveland Swatkins layin down some sweet vocals and talkbox with the Moog synthesizer, Jefferson Sechs hittin’ you hard with some mean keyboard skills and synth bass lines, David Valentine rippin’ it up on guitar, and PJ Snacks bangin’ it out on the drums. Don’t be surprised to see them switch it up when they all change instruments and jam just as hard as they do with their own equipment. Listening to these guys will truly pump you up and get your booty shakin’. Whether it be “Get Down Baby” or “Sugar Fly,” these guys know what’s up when it comes to gettin’ down.
