This April 18 to 21st the 1st annual Green Cities Conference will be hosted at the Oregon Convention Center.  This new conference aims to bring together the best of the business to aid the economic and physical health of cities through green and sustainable technologies.  Portland was the obvious choice for this new expo as we were rated the “Greenest City in America” by Popular Science in Feb. 2008, and the “Most Sustainable Big City” by Sustainlane.com in 2006.  The expo will include presentations and vendor booths with environmentally friendly products and services, seminars, and sustainability workshops.  Register online before March 20th to attend.
