The World Forestry Center is hosting their Museum By Moonlight event Friday night. This is your chance to enjoy some adult beverages while playing with all the toys this woodsy museum has to offer. For once, you don’t have to feel guilty about hogging the exhibits as this is a 21+ event.
There will plenty of sampling to be had in addition to the food and beverages available for purchase.
- Laurelwood Brewing Company will be there sampling their Organic Portland Roast Espresso Stout & Tree Hugger Porter.
- Barefoot Wine & Bubbly will be tasting from a selection of their wine and champagne.
- Stumptown will be sampling their Ethiopian Sodomo, along with the lastest Choffy Truffle.
- Portland Roasting Company will also be on-hand with a special holiday drink created just for this occassion!
- Fifty Licks will be serving up some tempting local ice cream. Flavors include maple bacon, single malt scotch, and Stumptown coffee.
- Honest Tea will be pouring a warm cup of goodness for designated drivers and those seeking non-alcoholic drinks.
- Belllagio’s Pizza will be slinging their pies for those in attendance. Both pizza and salads will be available to purchase at their stand.
After you’re done sampling, be sure to head upstairs to tour the World Forestry Center’s special exhibit on Portland’s favorite beverage with Coffee: The World in Your Cup. This limited exhibit takes you on the journey from farm to cup!
If all that’s not enough, the entire museum is available to explore for us kids at heart. Ride the simulated rapids on the River Raft Adventure, test your smoke jumping skills with their Virtual Smoke-jumper exhibit, or play their Timberjack Harvester videogame and get your Pacific NW on.
