The ¿Por Qué No? on N. Mississippi caught fire a little over a month ago, and since then owner Bryan and crew have been working hard to rebuild to get ready for the return of legions of fans. They are completing final touches and kitchen prep today and plan to re-open tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17th.
Though, they are advising to call ahead if you plan to stop by for some tasty grub, just in case they have any major setbacks today. Otherwise, they are ready for you.
As a show of thanks to their loyal customers, they will be offering Taco Tuesday/Mid-day menu prices for the first week they are open. Their carnitas tacos are some of the best around, so this is a great deal. Seriously, go there for the carnitas.
So come celebrate the re-opening of ¿Por Qué No? Taqueria and congratulate Bryan on both the birth of his new daughter and the re-birth of this sustainable North Portland establishment.
