North American Organic Brewers Festival
June 16, 2008
The world’s largest organic brewers festival is happening soon and it’s happening in Portland! The organic beer movement has quietly gained momentum over the years, and with over 50 organic beers to try, Portland will become the epicenter of this world for a weekend. The North American Organic Brewers Festival takes place at Overlook Park on June 27th-June 29th. The event is free and open to the public. $5 gets you a reusable (and compostable) tasting glass and samples are $1 a ticket. A full glass is 4 tickets.
In its fourth year now, the festival shows off the diversity and range of beer styles being brewed organically from across North America as well as Europe. The North American Organic Brewers Festival is presented by Roots Organic Brewing Company, Portland’s first all-organic brewery. There will live music, plenty of food, and more organic beer than you’ve ever witnessed in your life. See you there!
