Oregon Voting Day Has Finally Arrived!

All you last-minute voters will have to venture out in the rain today if you want your voice heard. So make up your mind and do it quickly because all ballots have to be turned in by 8 pm. Already, more than 800,000 ballots have been turned in, with another 250,000 expected throughout the day. Secretary of State Bill Bradbury estimates a turnout between 50 percent and 60 percent, due in part to the extremely close Democratic presidential primary race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. This is the first time in over 40 years Oregon has had a significant say in either party’s nominee. So get out and vote! FYI, it is too late to mail your ballot in.
