University of Portland

The University of Portland (UP) is a private Roman Catholic University located in Portland, Oregon, and is a sister school to the University of Notre Dame. The UP campus can be found near St. Johns in the University Park neighborhood, on a bluff overlooking the Willamette River. Founded in 1901, the University of Portland is well known for it’s women’s soccer program (Division I NCAA National Champions in 2002 and 2005) and is the only school in Oregon to offer a college of arts and sciences, a graduate school, and schools of business, education, engineering and nursing.
