Forest Heights
Forest Heights [Portland Zip Code 97229] is a neighborhood located on a ridge in Northwest Portland, about 20 minutes from downtown. It contains Forest Park, the 14th largest city park in the country (over 5000 acres), and offers majestic views of the coast range. Forest Heights has the look and feel of a suburb, as well as a diversity of homes that makes it attractive to both small and large families. Much of the area is still being developed, but already contains great schools and a safe environment to raise a family. Just southwest of the Forest Heights is a 600 acre development that many refer to as “Intel Country Club” because of the high number of Intel engineers who reside there.
