At its heart is the historic Hollywood Theatre (4122 NE Sandy Blvd.), built in 1926 and now a non-profit international film house and film education center. The popular Hollywood Farmer’s Market is located on NE Hancock between 44th and 45th Avenues in and is open from 8 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays from May through October. Another attractive feature of the Hollywood neighborhood is its close proximity to Portland International Airport. The Hollywood District is a mix of commercial and residential space and provides shopping for many of the surrounding neighborhoods.
