The Portland Saturday Market opens for business!

Drop on in to the oldest open air seasonal market in the U.S. for locally made foods, arts, crafts, and other products.  Grab some Thai food from Tim’s Thai and wander up the aisles looking at the local products including Sarracenia NW for some carnivorous plants (great for beautiful, natural home pest control).   Or take a minute to look at some KittyHooch cat toys with organic catnip from their Sauvies Island farm, which will make even the laziest of cats turn into a crazy playful kitten.  Regardless of your interests, there’s bound to be something for you here.

Once I have checked out all of the shops in the market, I always finish my Saturday Market trips with a giant Elephant Ear.  Nothing tops an afternoon wandering around the bustling market like an Elephant Ear and a Coke.
