Portland’s Cinco de Mayo

Portland’s Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is the first big celebration of the year at Portland’s Waterfront Park. Attracting more than 300,000 people a year, Portland’s Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is the largest of its kind in North America. Guadalajara’s Ballet Folklorico and Mariachis will be performing daily. A new addition to this year’s Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is The Guadalajara Pavilion, which is an authentic Mexican Market and Plaza housing Authentic Mexican merchants and live stage performances all weekend long. The 2008 Fiesta begins Friday May 2nd with a fireworks kick-off at 9:45PM. There will be plenty of authentic food, music, arts and crafts all weekend! For more information, visit the festival website.
