The Roots Festival is an annual celebration of diversity put together by the multicultural student groups at Portland State University. The event, held on May 22nd on the PSU Park blocks, features local artists, international food vendors, a huge community-made mural, world musical and dance performances, workshops and more. This year?s theme, ?Diversity in Politics and Activism?, will inform and inspire community members to embrace civic engagement and a multicultural perspective in political action.
