Tour De Lab – A Pub Crawl on Bikes

Tour De Lab Poster at Multnomah Village Lucky Lab BreweryOne of the things that caught my eye yesterday as I was walking through Multnomah Village (besides the amount of beer at John’s Marketplace) was this sign that was posted on the fence at the Luck Lab Brewing Company.

Exercise and beer are usually two things I don’t associate with each other, but this actually sounds really fun!

The Tour De Lab starts at the Lucky Lab in The Pearl District (1945 NW Quimby) and depending on if you want to be a puppy, or a big dog, you can choose the optional extended route with hill climb which takes you to the Lucky Lab in Multnomah Village for your first pit stop of the day.  Otherwise, you’ll be hitting the double L in SE, then North Portland, and finishing up back in NW for the “finish line party”.

Registration is $35 and benefits DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital. Visit TourDeLab.com for more info.

I absolutely LOVE this event. Very fun. I rode 2 years ago with a group of coworkers and last with with 5 of my friends. This year I’m trying to get a big group together and we’ll hang out at the Lucky Lab after the ride if the weather is as great as I hope it will be (like today!!!). This ride is my favorite ride of the end of the summer!

Jeff- are you riding? I hope to see you out there!

Oh, and don’t worry – I just ride the 18 mile ride. That’s plenty for me – and plenty fun! I’ll be the one (of many) drinking Super Dog (LL’s best beer) at the finish line.

Hey Sarah, thanks for the comments…

Unfortunately I already made plans to do the Warrior Dash out in North Plains, so no Tour De Lab for me.
